Malacca @ Night

 My New Fav Shopping Destination

Ok, I admit, I love Malacca. I love Jonker Street and when I heard they want to remove Jonker street, I was devastated, furious and absolutely feeling the authorities making a huge mistake!
It was the best thing in Malacca to have Jonker Street and at weekend, even though I really dislike crowds and cramp places but I would make Jonker Street an exception!
I tend to buy some things there. At least one or two things. or even 10 !
Though this time, I was there with my family to celebrate Father’s Day.
It kinda of a treat for me and me sis for him and my mom , so we, sisters let them have they own date night , with Malacca boat cruise and Malacca’s famous extravagant rickshaws.

We just being there for a night. It is pretty near from Nilai, Negeri Sembilan so it is perfect weekend gateaway.
We stayed at Bayview Hotel Melaka and it is the last option we had. It was fully booked other places and this is the nearest and nicest place I could find.

I won’t review about the hotel, I’ve done it at

One thing strike me with this room that it is pretty old by the looks of the furniture and sign of “Tolong” or Help craved on lower of the table.

Did I freak out? Not really. The first thing was in my mind that “this person watched too much horror movie”.
Before we reached to the hotel, we ate at Tiga Lima Restaurant or “Three Five Restaurant”, my dad said it is quite a famous restaurant in Melaka with their famous “Asam Masak Pedas”. I guess it was ok for me.
This is the only thing that left.

Jonker street was the IT place in Malacca. I’ve ended up bought well, quite much of “unnecessaries”.

“. Some shirts, watches and key chains? lol. Well, can’t show them. I forgot which one I bought there. Lol.

We had a great night and I am glad my dad and mom had a great date night ^_^

Weekend Trip at Serendah

Sekeping Serendah, Rawang

Last weekend, me and bunch of colleagues went to Serendah, Rawang. One thing for sure, that place was not easy to find. We did end up lost, twice. Finally we arrived later than we expected. It was not a bad thing as we had a jolly good time while we were there.

We took up a Warehouse 2 and it was spacious… you can run and rolling as you please. It was lovely interior and interesting architecture.

There was a few caretakers of the houses and there was a few houses around the area as well, which all of them are exquisitely lovely houses to relax in over the weekend.

this is what type of activities we did…

Swimming pool

Chillax  corner

Another chillax corner which no one goes as too many chillax corner.
Arts around the place.

Word of warning, since it is literally inside a thick jungle, it is a secluded as there were no phone coverages and such but there’s a fridge. At least, it made it better. lol. A kitchen always made it better and as well bathrooms. My food plan was to fried than bbq and that is exactly what I did and my girl friends. We did ok and did not waste any foods like previous trip we had at Port Dickson.

Chef Missy Fried Chicken of the day

Everyone tummy is in good hands at the end of the night. We even celebrated our team leader, Rishi on his 34th birthday with his favorite football team, Liverpool.

Moved on, earlier I said bathrooms made it better in the jungle, it does! Warehouse 2 has 3 bathrooms but 2 out of 3 bathrooms had a little opening so if “someone” is tall enough, they can actually can peek-a-boo my booty while I am in shower. Just pray no one will peek or “some one”. It is a jungle after all.(spooky music background).

After a good fun of foods and laughter, we retreat to our bedrooms which consist of 2 parts, each of them with 3 singles beds and 1 queen size bed.

Even though we did not sleep as soon as we had fun, we continued with series of ghost telling stories, which made me a very sleepy girl and I did surrender to snooze and some of them asleep after day went bright!

I had at least 3 hours of sleep and waking up hungry. Thank god we ordered some breakfast from caretakers, nasi lemak and roti canai.

As soon it was 12 noon, we checked out and headed back to KL. We got lost AGAIN on the way to PJ. Lol!

It was a good fun for 8 of us and hopefully this will add to a good memories for all of them.

End note, the boss got “egged” and happy.

If you like an outdoor trip but still love having a bit of luxuries as kitchen , bathrooms and beds, this is this place to be.
so I will just swing away!

Surf them up at for more houses.

One Day Trip

Genting Highland

I’ve always enjoy myself going to Genting Highland. It is not only the amusement park that I am aiming for but it is a great one day trip with my sis on start of 2013. I did earlier plan going to Genting with bunch of my colleagues but they are pretty on and off about it and I feel like going with or without them, I mean it is only one hour to reach there.

Cable Car to reach Genting Highland. A must for everybody ^_^

   So why wait, right?

I didn’t went to outdoor amusement this time. It is very relaxing just by walking around and see the best artificial city inside a building.

The things we did there was 4D motion master, which I guess you all probably know, sit on a chair with 3D sunglasses that won’t make anybody looking swag and it moves like in the movie. It was OK. Just for laugh!

Nothing special. After that we went to Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum, that museum was fun! Serious fun, at least for me who are pretty much into museums and all.

To see and read all the weird stuffs Mr. Ripley’s discovered while he traveled the whole world.I am jealous of his job! ^_^

Here are some of his discoveries in the museum.

He is pretty shy at first…
Hold on,Sis! You can do it!

Love Love this mirror!

We’ll see how lucky I will be!

Dentist chair for children in 1904. I feel lucky now..

It was a practice for husband for which if he think his wife gossiping too much, he will put this Scold’s Bridle Collar on his wife neck. It was a humiliating device.

Lastly, we went to Haunted Adventure, it was werewolves theme and we were given a laser gun to shoot some worm creatures around the maze. It was fun as  I did feel like Sam and Dean from Supernatural. ^_^

The bad part is, I didn’t know how many points did I score as there wasn’t any scoreboard 😦 The guy just took the gun and escort us out…booo..
After all that, we had dinner and we retreat to our “suites” and rest for the night has come and sang us a lullabies of the misty mountain.

This is our “suites” for the night… at Theme Park Hotel.

Price per night on Sunday: RM 118

Not a fancy mancy room but decent one night stay.
That’s all for now! good bye and have a great start 2013 from me and me sis.
p/s: some of the pics are not mine and some of  it was taken from phone camera.
