IS IT THAT HARD?!!

Have you ever want to start eating right, exercise more and try to search in internet about those kind of information and soon enough become discourage?

I get that often and I don’t understand why can’t make it easy and simple.

Obviously, I can’t follow diets for westerners, for example Atkins Diet or South Beach Diets. It doesn’t work for my Asian genetics. There is one website or blog for Asian diets or more precisely Malaysian diets. It is a good effort to do it and I am applauding to that person. At least I know how much calories in Chicken Rendang or Roti Canai! 🙂

Only one slighty thing, I don’t like to read too technical things on why this muscles relatively for weight loss and etc..etc.. It practically zone me out. I need to simplify things. The way it is written in the blog is more bashing other people diets rather encouraging them to loss weight. Doesn’t need to be “pointing out” the faulty. I think we as Malay tends to insults other Malay rather than “Melayu patut tolong Melayu” kind of thing. Usually the word “help” means “ridicule” or “insult”. I don’t want to go there.

It is food that makes the culture.

Of course, in the end, eating less, healthy and exercise more is always the best method to go.

Drink Chocolate Milk to Slim?!

This is the best day in my fitness history of all time! Drink CHOCOLATE MILK to slim!
I’ve read it in Yahoo! new in fitness section. It really caught my eyes. 🙂
Though there’s a catch. Drink SKIM chocolate milk. Low-Fat chocolate milk. I don’t know if it taste good but as long as it is chocolate milk, I’ll buy it!

Drink 1 cup or 8 oz of chocolate milk one in the morning, one before workout and after workout.

Sounds too good to be true, is it? The article stated 4 reason why chocolate milk is good.

Reason 1

Calcium

We need calcium to have strong bones and calcium indeed have an effect of avoiding
body ability to absorb fat (what do you know?!!). Researchers from Nebraska analyzed that consuming 1000 mg of calcium can lose up to 18 pounds! Not that I will count it thoroughly every 1000 mg. That’s tiring. So drink up!

Reason 2

Vitamin D

You need vitamin D. You need it because vitamin D responsible to move the calcium around. Think of vitamin D is a bus and calcium is passenger. I couldn’t think of any better metaphor. Chocolate milk fortified with vitamin D! so DRINK UP already!

Reason 3

Boost!

You need to exercise as well to get those flab away. You think you can just drink chocolate drink alone?! :P~
Anyhow, chocolate milk can boost your workout performance. Milk has naturally occurring electrolytes that keep you hydrated—more hydrated then water and it tastes so good.

Reason 4

Muscle

You need muscle to stay slim. Not that bulking hulk kind of muscle. Though muscular man does have few fat than normal people.
Muscle= slim. Muscle burns more calories than fat. Whenever we create new muscle fiber, it receive urge fat-torching energy and chocolate milk can do that!
Tell me what’s better than drinking chocolate milk after workout. Get lost all the energy drinks, they have more sugar too!

So exercise and Drink Chocolate Milk! I want to see the effectiveness in it. I will update. I’m so excited even listen to word chocolate milk! Get your ass up and exercise! 🙂

>Motivation.

I’ve gained weight. I am so happy, I guess.
I always thought I am in a right weight but
that darn WIIfit told me that I almost overweight!
🙂

It doesn’t bother me that much before but after seeing my waist zone
in the picture recently, I really need to rethink my eating habits and start work out.
It has been awhile I didn’t work out but my latest picture are my sole inspiration!
Leads a healthy life!!
This is what I am to do for now:

1. Drinks Lots of Water
2. Drinks Green tea ..or any other hot beverage after meals
3. Be active!
4. you are what you eat

Recently I bought resistant band for exercising. I guess that is the best purchase I ever did.
I will post update about my weight loss. I admit I can’t have the same body I used to have. When you get older, your body
have their own mind and now I really understand the phrase, listen to your body.

I will do this gradually. It is always good start something small.
I did to do things so fast and after that, I drop it all so fast as well.. so no, I do not want to repeat the same mistake.

First task,

Drink a lot of water.

I went for a walk yesterday with Anna and Katja. It was one hour fun! Apparently, I think we went all around Tapiola.

Personally, I prefer walking than running. I tend to short of breath too easily and it doesn’t make me comfortable when I feel I need to think how to breath properly.

It is not so bad to walk alone though I won’t mind having a company to walk along. We don’t need to talk much. I begin to understand about silence is gold in certain time. I used to feel uncomfortable not to talk whenever I’m with someone.

I walked much back home and the reason is I don’t have a car nor a bike. I have a bike now! I used to keep bugging my dad to buy me a bike since I was 13. After 14 years, I got one! I got a bike from my boyfriend who I didn’t expect to buy it! I love it.

I still remember my “walking days” in KL. Going through LRT, stuffed KTM and walk 15 minutes from KLCC to Pavilion. Matter of fact, I feel thats all I’ve been doing. Walking to work, standing up in the train, walking to shopping mall and sit to eat. I feel kinda bored. Though walking is the best!

So Keep Walking!
