Review- Goodal Deep Clean Pore Glacial Clay

I am excited to try Goodal WashUp Deep Clean Pore Glacial Clay since I do not feel good about my skin recently.

I found this product at Watson, Pavilion and retail at 8,90MYR each. I was drawn to this product because of its packaging and the fact that I need a mask at that time. It supposed to use it once since it is in small size, I could say a sample but I really appreciate that they produce these small size for us to try it out first.

It has grainy texture which it is normal for Deep Cleanse wash but it also has mint/ heaty feeling to it when I put it on skin (?). Gosh, I am bad at explaining things. The feeling of heaty or minty is not too much, subtle you can put it that way.

The result? A nice clean and fresh feeling skin. I’ve used twice a week now and the downside of it perhaps it might or may not made my skin welcome a zit .. a single zit. Or perhaps my skin was acting up lately so I can’t confirm on that yet. I will use it this whole month and update to it if it really break my skin out.

Overall, it is a nice mask and frankly, I am happy with the result.
Before I forget, for those who really into Korean brands, this is a Korean brands.

Not fancy this? Maybe other clay mask you can try at ClioClub.
Review- Goodal Deep Clean Pore Glacial Clay

Benefit’s shopping of guilt.

I fall into trap of cute packaging and brand name Benefits it is like kryptonite to me. I always buy something from them.

I was going to the Benefit counter for only their brow specialist to clean up my brows after  2 years of doing nothing on it. After I got my brows done and whilst waiting for girl to give me the receipt for service, I made a mistake by walking around Benefits counter and after 15 minutes, I bought their PoreFessional and Hello Flawless Compact Powder!

In additional, the girl at the counter gave me a cute little sample of Hello Flawless Liquid Foundation! *sigh*

So I ended up with these babies at home…

the PoreFessional

This is one product that feel velvet on my skin. It is so soft and blend nicely on my skin and it fills my pore as it should be. Even after washing my face, it left my skin feeling soft. I love love the smell as well.

Price: RM 115

Here are before and after I put on PoreFessional. My skin is a bit oily and as you can see on right image, PoreFessional made it looking matte and it reduce redness.

Before                                                                                       After
After putting this PoreFessional, I went to put on my liquid foundation and it cover up even more of my pores. I apologized for this quite gruesome image. I hope it make you want to buy it even more.. lol~ *evil laugh*

Here are the ingredients for these PoreFessional:

Hello Flawless Compact Powder.

This compact powder comes with sponge for bit more coverage and small brush for sheer coverage though my findings are the brush is enough to cover my skin redness. Though it does not last long and my skin tend to get oily after 3 hours, I reapply it and it makes my skin fresh and matte again. It does not makes my skin looks cakey or too powdery after second application which is good!
 Price: RM130

Lastly, Hello! Flawless Liquid Foundation

As it is a sample, I truly enjoy sampling and it turns out that I am falling in love with this foundation.

It blends well with my skin tone and love when I removed the foundation, which it leaves my skin soft and fresh. Some foundations, when I removed it, it can make my skin a bit drier or a bit dull.

I think it will be my next purchase when I get my brows done. Hopefully only this foundation, nothing else.

Price: RM120

Here is my full face that I used all of these products above.

till I see you again ! Have a great day!

Fake Lashes

Fake lashes.

When I started make up a few years ago, I also indulge in varieties of fake lashes that available out there because having a pair of nice fake lashes really helps my eye shadows appear more appealing, elegant and polish and sometimes it changes my eye shape.

I bought these lashes around KL and I fairly satisfied with these lashes as they are very soft and I do not feel there’s a ton of lashes hanging on my eyes.

Here are these lashes on my eyes, so you will get the better picture on how it look like on my eyes.

This is from Doll Lash and it has become my favorite fake lashes! The price is RM 27 from Watson.
This is one out of three fake lashes available from Eyelash Kit from Forever 21. Price for 3 lashes are RM 20.

This is also from Eyelash Kit from Forever 21.

This is also from Eyelash Kit from Forever 21.

I’ve finally bought this 10 pairs of eye lashes made from Taiwan and it cost me RM 25. It is very natural and I am eager to try their other lashes as well.. ^_^  Though one bad thing about having the same pair of 10 is I tend to disposed it too quickly after usage, my mind playing tricks on me as I have another 9 of these. damn!

My favorite lashes from Doll Lash. Same price of RM 27 from Watson.

I bought this at Sephora for RM22 and I really like the way it curves on my lids. Love.

til’ I see you again! ^_^

Savee Beauty

Hello People!

I hope you  have a great weekend!

A few weeks ago, Savee did another promotion tour to Bandar Tasik Selatan’s LRT and with that, my RM40/ USD $12 is gone.

Let me explain, I did review on Savee mask before and went super crazy about it and purchased at least 20 of them? After all, it is only RM2 each or USD $0.63.
So recently, they have another promo tour and the masks are RM1/ USD $0.30 each! I ended up with 30 more masks and few eyeshadow pan with only RM2 each.

I do not want to talk about the mask because I reviewed them before. So, let’s move on to the next best thing, RM2 eyeshadow.

Is it worth it? Honestly, I’m in love with it now. It is surprisingly quite pigmented and easily blend. One of them are matte and mostly are metallic finish.
Whatever it is, it is worth my RM20. ^_^

Damn, I should buy more. Anyway, I am sure they have it again.

The eyeshadow does not have any cute name for it. It has some what of a code but I threw the little box away and perhaps I will make my own color name?

Most of the shadows I’ve picked are pastel/candy colors. I usually stay away from it and opt for more bright colors or I prefer bright bright in your face color though I know such pigmented colors comes with a price. ^_^

Since it was RM2 each, I might as well give it a try.

Matte blue really. pigmented, quite. I am satisfied.

Dark Green

Shimmer finish. It does not crave too much attention since my skin is on tan side. Kind of blend it.

Light Green

Frosty color, very pastel. Not my fav among these 10 eyeshadows I bought. Chalky finish. meh!

Pink Light

Metallic finish. Perfect for highlighting.

Pink Dark.

Since my eyes is brown, I feel using this color makes this shadow a bit Red? some angle it does look a bit of purple.

Purple dark

pigment is meh, but with jumbo pencil from nyx, this color is nice metallic finish.

Purple light

Lavender, really. Beautiful metallic finish and pigmented even without primer/jumbp pencil. Love.

looks gold but more to orange gold? Shimmery!

2 browns. The same two browns. I just notice it. The other brown looks tad lighter than other, so I thought it is a different hue of brown but the lighting fools me and thus, I bought two SIMILAR browns.

It is a metallic finish, very pigmented. It is great for contouring or blending. ^_^ Love.

Overall, I am satisfied with these colors. Blendable and pigmented.

Here are some of the looks using these shadows.

That’s all folks. If you have a chance to bump into Savee counter, just give it a try. It’s bloody cheap! ^_^

I will try do more looks with it. Thanks for reading. ^_^

ZA Deep Cleansing Oil

ZA Deep Cleansing Oil
Forever is a long time and hence it is taking me forever to do a review. The point was, I want
to give full length of review on products I used and give my bloody honest review.
The pro of this experiment is, it is more reliable and more in-depth. The cons of this experiment is  I don’t remember most of my points! lol! ok ..ok .. ok ..

ZA Deep Cleansing Oil

(photo credit: ZA Deep Cleansing Oil)
I don’t even remember to take pic of my own Cleansing Oil (aiyayaya, *face palm*)
I have been using this oil for more than 3 months and in that 3 months,
no breakouts whatsoever while using this oil, good point for ZA!

I bought this oil because I do not have enough money to buy DHC cleansing oil that people
raving about. ^_^
It is alot cheaper and it was on promo price at Watson’s so being cheap ass, I bought it.

This is my desperado purchase and I am glad it does not give me crap.

Since you have to use this oil on dry hands and dry face, it does it job to remove residue/heavy make up and it removed waterproof mascara briliantly!. It leaves my skin feeling refresh after rinse it with water but i tend to scrub it too much and too long, it will leave my skin
rather “tight”.

I do however cleanse it again with mild cleanser after few hours before I go to slumberland.
Probably I shouldn’t but I feel more extra clean when I did  cleanse it again.

Like any other oil, I could not compare to any other oil cleanser as I dont have any other.. hehehheheheheh…

Ok ok .. bad joke…

Overall, it is a good cleansing oil.

Will I purchase it again? probably if I am desperate again 🙂

Sleek Palette

A Sleek 13 Dwarves, A Wizard and A Hobbit and The Make UP.

Here and Back again, Peter Jackson is back to bring us the magical The Hobbits: An Unexpected  Journey and here I am watched it twice now at the cinema. Obsess much?I guess. Such an adorable dwarves but personally I wouldn’t want them in my house too! ^_^ such a rude guests!

I am not talking about bunch of Dwarves now, that for others to comment on their blog. I am 100% supporting LOTR/The Hobbit trilogy all the way. There will be no negative comments on the movies. I am here because this is the look I did when watching 13 dwarves killing orcs.

I had bought a Sleek Makeup palette in Storm, one word. Impress.

This palette is by far the most pigmented palette I ever owned so far. It has a beautiful finish and I am utterly pleased with whatever I paint my eyelids with this palette. I feel like a pro! ^_^

I haven’t managed to take pictures or to blog about my so-called look of the day because I will usually already fashionably late at that time ^_^

Here are the look. A simple brown smokey-ish look with a bit of green on outer lid. Just a weee bit. It looks like black but in person, it is a dark green.

Colors that I chose are….
Used: Maroon color, I suppose? Dark Red-ish.

Used: 3 natural colors and Dark Green.
 Used: Far Left, Dark Brown.

That is all, I guess. Nothing out of extraordinary. Though I really recommend of Sleek Makeup palette. It is very pigmented even without any primer. ^_^ Thanks for reading and strolling on my pictures. Feel free to leave a comment or suggestion on which Sleek Makeup should I will be getting next …^_^

What I like about Birthdays

IS the gifts! Obvious? State the Obvious? I love giving gifts and receiving them. It is impossible not to love receiving gifts. ^_^

Even though my birthday was 2 months ago but I appreciate that my friend gave me this beautiful and thoughtful gifts for my birthday. She knows how I love collecting and hoarding make up palette! The best dialogue of all time is “I have a present for you” and as a mature young women, I would giggled and smile restlessly to that statement. If I am a superwoman, my present are my kryptonite.

I didn’t get the chance to use this gorgeous palette while I was at Malacca, I am utterly lazy to use make up while traveling, I will somehow get the feeling I will use more of this palette than others, as it is quite a natural tone palette and the fact that Avon did changed my mind.

I do like Avon stuffs but before they have this range of good eye shadows, it was super crappy before. My first Avon products I used when I was 14 yo. That was because my high school friend were pointing on Avon products on close range of my eyes. ^_^ So in fear, I have to buy it. That where I thought, Avon rep was scary.

Fast forward… This is the palette.

L-R: Earth Tone & Purple Haze

Victoria Secret Wink, Wink Fragrance Mist. Another review  perhaps….

Here are the swatches. Flash and without flash.

Purple Haze

                                                                                          Earth Tones

This is what I wore last weekend when my family and I went to Big Bad Wolf Book Sale.

I’ve used Earth tone palette and I couldn’t be more impressed. Absolutely and ultimately gorgeous colors!

Conclusion: Beautiful palette and natural colors that this palette will get abuse treatment from me for the next few weeks.

A Big Thank you, Minah! ^_^ I lap you!
